Choyal was born in a village in Rajasthan, in the hands of women who embroider for weddings, not runways. this project took me to Napasar, to document the weavers and embroidery artists whose work forms the soul of the brand, and to be present during the Gangaur festival, one of the most celebrated moments in the village calendar. the photographs were never meant to be a campaign. they were meant to be a record, of a craft, a community, and a way of living that deserves to be seen on its own terms.
